Particle removal in condensator

Biomass plants can achieve high efficiency when the flue gas is cooled in a condensing cooler.

However particles will accumulate in the condensate water.

When the condensate have a high load of particles, will the heatexhangers and nozzles plough up and pumps and other components will have a short life time. Also the excess condensate must be cleaned before it is led to the sewer system.

Dall Energy have developed and patented a system, where the scrubber water is much cleaner than in normal scrubber systems.

In the Dall Energy scrubber system is most of the particles removed by the quench, prior to the flue gas condensator.

The quench water, with the particles, is used for i.e. ash moisturizing or for temperature controll of the furnace.

Hereby will the particles caugth by the quench not enter the flue gas scrubber and the condensate is therefore much cleaner.

The excess condensate produced by the condensator has to be cleaned before it is lead to the sewer or used as make-up water.

Dall Energy deliver a very good particle filter together with Kaj Larsen VVS.
