Multi fuel multi purpose biomass system

It sounds incrediable, but neverless have Dall Energy developed a biomasse system which :

 

Have no hot moving parts: The furnace combine updraft gasification and gas combustion.
Have 20% higher efficiency: The combination of Low O2 content, an air moisturizing system and traditional flue gas condensation results in a very high efficiency even when the return temperature of the district heating system is high.

The oven is developed in order to optimize fuel flexibilitiy and to reduce emissions, maintenance costs and investment costs.

The high temperature cooler can heat thermal oil.
By using thermal oil the energy from the high
temperature cooler can generate:

• Power, by use of ORC machines
• Cooling, by use of absorption chillers
• Clean water, by use of vacuum distillation
• Steam, by using thermal oil-steam boilers
• District heating.

High Efficiency

The energy of the flue gas is recovered in a condensation unit. Condensation units are known in energy plants, but Dall Energy units are unique:

Due to the high moisture content and the high water dew point in the flue gas, the amount of energy produced in the condensation unit is much higher compared to traditional condensation units;
Due to the high water dew point, the condensation unit can produce district heating water at much higher temperatures than normal condensation units:
Due to the air moisturizing system, the flue gas is cooled to about 35°C resulting in very little fume and a very high energy efficiency of the plant.
